Alexander the Great Mysteries

The Alexander the Great Mysteries follow Telamon, a physician and boyhood companion of Alexander, during the opening campaign against the Achaemenid Persian Empire in 334 BCE. Alexander’s army has crossed from Macedonia into Asia, but assassinations, infiltrators and rivalries within the command threaten the expedition before and between its battles.

The House of Death begins beside the Hellespont as guides are murdered before the first major clash. The Godless Man and The Gates of Hell continue the southward advance through Persian-held territory and towards Halicarnassus. Telamon’s enquiries reveal how military intelligence, religious signs and personal ambition can be as dangerous to the conqueror as an enemy army.
