Rollo

860–932

Rollo was a Viking leader who became the first ruler of the territory later known as Normandy. A settlement with the Frankish king granted him land around the lower Seine in exchange for loyalty and defence against further raiding.

In Griff Hosker’s Duke of Normandy, Rollo now had Rouen but he has enemies.
