Apollonius of Rhodes was a Hellenistic Greek poet best known for the Argonautica. His epic retells Jason’s voyage for the Golden Fleece with particular attention to geography, scholarship and Medea’s emotional experience.
In Apollonius of Rhodes’s The Voyage of Argo, the Voyage of Argo is a translation of Apollonius of Rhodes’ Argonautica, the Hellenistic epic of Jason, Medea and the quest for the Golden Fleece.
