The Scottish Prisoner

In 1760, Jamie Fraser is living under parole in the Lake District when a former Jacobite associate approaches him with evidence of a new political conspiracy. Lord John Grey is separately investigating corruption and murder connected to the British Army. Their reluctant cooperation takes them to Ireland, where personal distrust, Jacobite loyalties and official espionage become entangled in a plot capable of damaging both men.
