Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade

In 1758, the Grey family is preparing for a marriage that revives rumours surrounding the death of Lord John’s father, who was accused of Jacobite treason before his apparent suicide. Anonymous threats and an attack on John’s brother force him to investigate the old scandal while concealing a dangerous relationship of his own. His search moves from London society to military campaigning in Germany and brings him back into contact with the imprisoned Jacobite Jamie Fraser.
